Mortise-tenon layering (YF012) adjusts loft in defined steps that lock together, so the pillow cannot drift out of its setting during the night. Swappable dual cores (YF001/002 and YF011) give one product two loaded heights and two feels — the buyer merchandises a single SKU, the user picks a core. Fixed dual-height zones (ZT007) need no user action at all: the sleeper rotates the pillow to change height. Each mechanism trades differently between unit cost, packaging size and how much explaining the retail page must do; we quote all three against your target price band so the choice is a numbers decision, not a guess.
