Memory foam materials for verifiable pillow OEM specifications.
Compare gel-infused, bamboo-charcoal, copper/graphene-containing and bio-based foam routes plus breathable covers, with every functional claim tied to the selected construction.
Foam systems configured for measurable briefs.
Additives, cell structures and covers address different goals. The mechanism, sample and evidence are specified before cooling, odor, antibacterial or sustainability language is approved.
Gel-Infused Foam
Gel can be evaluated with cover touch, perforation and airflow as one thermal system; final wording follows the tested construction.
Bamboo Charcoal Foam
Bamboo-charcoal formulas can be sampled for odor and humidity-positioned ranges; measurable language requires the exact formula and report.
Copper & Graphene
Copper- or graphene-containing formulas require a defined brief. Antibacterial or anti-mite wording needs evidence for the selected formula and test method.
Bio-Based Foam
Plant-derived feedstocks may replace part of a conventional polyol system. Bio-content and environmental claims are verified for the selected formulation.
Ice-Silk Nylon (锦氨冰丝)
180g nylon-spandex with a naturally cool, silky hand — breathable, moisture-wicking, skin-friendly.
Milk Silk (牛奶丝)
Soft inner-cover option with a smooth, plush hand; fiber content and care instructions are confirmed in the textile specification.
Lamb Wool & Lycra (羊羔绒)
Plush lamb-wool accents and high-density Lycra for durable, characterful designs.
Memory foam vs latex, down & fiber.
A neutral comparison buyers can use to position memory foam against the other common pillow fills.
| Property | Memory foam | Latex | Down / feather | Polyester fiber |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Neck & contour support | High — molds to head & neck | Medium-high, bouncier | Low — little structure | Low–medium, flattens |
| Pressure relief | High | Medium-high | Medium | Low |
| Durability | High (density-dependent) | High | Medium, needs fluffing | Low, clumps over time |
| Breathability / heat | Improved with gel, charcoal, perforation | Naturally breathable | Very breathable | Moderate |
| Care | Washable cover; core aired | Washable cover; wipe core | Often machine washable | Machine washable |
| Best for | Neck support, side & back sleepers | Bouncy support, allergy-aware | Soft, plush, stomach sleepers | Budget, low-cost volume |
Foam terms, defined.
- Slow-rebound (memory) foam
- Viscoelastic polyurethane foam that slowly springs back, molding to the head and neck for contour support.
- Fast-rebound foam
- Springs back quickly for a livelier feel — used in travel and U-pillows where structure matters more than cradling.
- Gel-infused foam
- A gel material route that may change early heat transfer. Finished-pillow wording depends on the exact construction, control, duration and method.
- Density
- Foam mass per unit volume. Density is not firmness or durability; specify indentation response, support factor and fatigue separately.
- Contour / dual-zone
- A shaped surface with two starting heights. Fit still depends on posture, shoulder-to-bed gap, mattress sink and foam response.
- Off-gassing / curing
- Odor observed after sealed transport. Foam, adhesive, textile, packaging and dwell time may contribute; sensory records and applicable emissions results answer different questions.
We sell the benefit,
not the spec sheet.
Control odor and heat as separate, testable questions.
Odor and heat are recurring buyer concerns in memory foam categories. A faint new-product scent can appear after sealed transport, so the brief should define foam selection, curing, sealed dwell time, opening instructions and any applicable report instead of promising odor-free foam.
- Low-odor process: tier-1 BASF / Huntsman / Dow foam, curing and ventilation before packing.
- Thermal design: compare the cover, perforation, airflow channels, gel or PCM route as part of the complete assembly; do not treat them as interchangeable claims.
- Washable covers: removable ice-silk and milk-silk covers; foam core aired, not washed.
